The SPEEDMAT range includes three basic models SPEEDMAT 2, SPEEDMAT 3 and SPEEDMAT 4, with centrally located headstock, boring spindles of 130 mm to 160 mm diameters.
The SPEEDMAT product family can be used in a wide range of configurations and customized solutions in the fields of: aerospace, defense, heavy construction, diesel engine, die and mold, earthmoving, shipbuilding and power generation.
The SPEEDMAT modular design allows different levels of automation by selecting axes travels, spindle power, tool and pallet changers and other features, making the SPEEDMAT suitable for both singular or large production runs.
The versatility of SPEEDMAT is enhanced when using the wide range of attachment heads including universal, facing and turning and angular configurations to meet any machining requirements. These units are mounted to the headstock by the automatic head changer.
In addition a wide selection of special multi-axes heads are available with manual or automatic orientation.
These heads can either be positioned utilizing Hirth gear couplings or full contouring units.
